Heide

I was looking at pictures of stags fighting tonight in research for a project I'm working on at the moment and instead of drawing the animals I started to draw the plants around them. I wasn't thinking about what I was doing and a bit later I found myself working on this repeat pattern. I call it 'Heide' as it reminds me of the Lueneburger Heide in Germany ;-)

I will really have to focus now ... Tomorrow I shall begin on the stags ... there is bears planned, wolfs, eagles, owls and plenty of scenery ...mountains, water and all kinds of lovely things. The final images are 1.88m high so I have a lot to draw ... goodnight all of you!
