December

Isn't December wild! I had no idea it was the 10th already. How did that happen? In between commissions, shop orders, emails, calls, other work and various social events most of us like my good self will most probably catch a cold or even the flu and then all gets even tougher. Don't give up soon we can eat and be lazy and have a proper rest ;-)

Tonight is a night of great achievement as I have finally managed to reply to all of my fifty odd unanswered emails (I'm not kidding) and I'm finally back here writing a wee update.

Let me firstly tell you about Paper Circus who launched in the Argos Leicester store last Friday and who are selling a range of festive greeting cards by me and a bunch of other very talented UK designers to raise money and to help improve the lives of Teenagers fighting cancer. In total up till today Paper Circus have managed to raise a massive £1289,49 for Teenage Cancer Trust already! Go and have a look over there and maybe even spend a penny for the good cause. The website is http://papercircus.co.uk/ !

Secondly the very good Jamie Mills, super Kraggy and myself will be selling our wares at the Xmas market in the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, East London this Sunday (YES, which is tomorrow). Trading hours are 10am till 5pm and if you fancy it you should drop by. We could have a mulled wine and a chat. It will definitely take my mind off the cold and the runny nose!

You might also like to know that I currently have a winter Etsy Sale on.
It will last until the 20th of December which is the day when I close my shop for the holidays.
Ger you mittens on prints, tote bags, pocket mirrors, Christmas & greeting cards and all of it with 10% off when you enter code 'SANTA' at checkout. i think i will reopen in January once I'm back in the country and have stocked up!

My work is currently for show and sale at the Dog & Pony Gallery in Munich.
I was happy to see it arranged so well. Should you live in the area pop in and say hi.
The owners are most lovely and the space looks fantabulous! Dog & Pony is the personal Wunderkammer of Alexandra Lukaschewitz & Mario Klingemann - a room of possibilities and surprises.

And last but not least Shipshape Studio is now open and stocking some of my work!
An independent creative venue & boutique in Northwood, North London. Shipshape host workshops and events, and sells crafty supplies and kits in and owner Emily looks forward to welcoming you, instore and online. (@HandmadebyEmily) The woman that calls me 'Mama Wolf' is real diamond and one of those rare superwomen that makes things happen. Go and see her!

Until next time AND maybe see you tomorrow at the fair!
