Amur Leopard

The Amur Leopard is one of 10 animals that I'm illustrating for a project on endangered animals.
Did you know that it is one of the most ecologically, economically and/or culturally important species on our planet? Fewer than 35 Amur leopards remain in the wild, and their habitat is under threat from logging, forest fires and land clearance for farming and also horrible poaching.
Such amazing creatures!

Here are all 6 animals that I have done up till now:

I also found two amazing little books about Asian and Endangered wildlife by Peter Scott in the charity shop. The books were sponsored by Brooke Tea and you could collect these little illustrated animal cards to collect in the books when you bought the tea. Very sweet. They cost sixpence at the time. Unfortunately I couldn't find a date. Both books are true treasures.
