Hello lovelies!
It's been a while. Loads has happened in my life ... some of it very sad, life changing and other things have been good as well. Life is life I guess. Work has been busy and I try and keep up with it all and it's good to be back on the blog tonight.
You might have heard about the Secret 7" silent auction that was held in the Idea Generation gallery in Shoreditch, London and exhibited around 700 unique seven-inch sleeves inspired by tracks from The Cure, Florence + The Machine, Bombay Bicycle Club, CSS, DJ Shadow, Noah & The Whale and Ben Howard and couple of weeks ago. I haven't managed to blog about it but here we go ;-)
Well I was part of it anyway and it seems that someone has already become the owner of my exclusive vinyl record contribution. My piece was fittingly entitled 'Secret' and was inspired by the Cure's song Friday I'm in Love. All the proceeds of the auction are going to the Teenager Cancer Trust charity and with some of the sleeves still up for grabs you can bid for your own gem here on Ebay for a while still.
I had a lovely time meeting some of my fellow illustrators as well and generally had a pleasant night out.
After the unique sleeve has been snapped up I have released the image now which is available as a print in my Society6 shop for now until I get it onto my Etsy store. I hope you enjoy it! xxx
